IRS Commuter Benefits Set to Change
The transit pass and vanpool tax benefit of $230/month that was set up under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) is set to expire at the end of 2011. The transit pass and vanpool tax benefit will revert to $125 in 2012. The qualified parking benefit will increase from $230 to $240, up $10 from the limit in 2011.
