Thank you so much for saving, sharing, tracking and loving your commute in October. Pierce Trips appreciates you trying new trips and taking cars off the road.
More than 700 of your fellow Pierce County commuters participated in the Be a Commute Super Hero campaign. Altogether, you prevented over $100,000 in car expenses, almost 14,000 gallons in gas use and over 268,000 pounds in carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions.
This translates to eliminating carbon dioxide that would have been removed by 143 acres of forests!
Wheel Options Be a Commute Super Hero was brought to you by Pierce Trips and the Washington State Ridesharing Organization (WSRO), a statewide organization made up of transit, employer and jurisdictional volunteers who are dedicated to encouraging non-drive-alone trips to help reduce pollution and help smooth out traffic congestion.
