  2. Chehalis Western Trail with TWBC

    This ride is on the Chehalis Western Trail and begins in Lacey, we usually go to Tenino (but sometimes Yelm).

    Meet at the Chambers Lake Chehalis Western Trailhead in Lacey and be ready to leave at 9:30.

    Take exit 108 to Sleater Kinney Road SE and proceed south to 14th Avenue. Turn right on 14th and then left after you cross under the trestle (park is next to the trestle).

    Bring money to buy lunch at the Sandstone Cafe in Tenino.

    Please note rain, snow, or icy conditions may cancel this ride.

    Meet up at the Lincoln District Starbucks. S.37 and S. G Street at 10:00 to kick off the new year right and go on a bike ride. We will explore the Pipeline Trail. Ride will be about 15 miles round trip, weather permitting. Check this post at 8 am on Jan. 1 to see if the ride is a go or not. Dress for the weather, bring water and snacks. Helmets required for your safety and our insurance.

  4. Polar Bear Plunge Ride with TWBC

    Please join us for a scenic 33-mile round-trip bicycle ride to the Olalla Polar Bear Plunge event. Plunging into Puget Sound from the Olalla Bridge is an exciting tradition to bring in the New Year!

    We will start at the War Memorial Park at 10:00 AM. This will give us time to make the start of the Olalla Polar Bear Plunge event, and hear the mighty cannon boom!

    Our pace may be 12-14 mph average. As always, no riders will be left behind.
