    Use a smart commute option at least six days during the month of February and log your trips to be entered to win one of many cool NEW prizes!

    Love to Ride modes include carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus or Sounder train, bicycling, walking, working from home or not commuting because of a compressed work week schedule.

    To be eligible for prizes, you must commute to a worksite or college in Pierce County and log your trips using the Online Trip Calendar by Friday, March 7. New users will need to complete the registration first.

  2. Chehalis Western Trail with TWBC

    Description from TWBC.org website calendar:

    This ride is on the Chehalis Western Trail and begins in Lacey, we usually go to Tenino (but sometimes Yelm).

    Meet at the Chambers Lake Chehalis Western Trailhead in Lacey and be ready to leave at 9:30.

    Take exit 108 to Sleater Kinney Road SE and proceed south to 14th Avenue. Turn right on 14th and then left after you cross under the trestle (park is next to the trestle).

    Bring money to buy lunch at the Sandstone Cafe in Tenino.

    Please note rain, snow, or icy conditions may cancel this ride.

  3. Pipeline Trail Design First Public Meeting

    February 12, 2020, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Mid-County Community Center, 10205 44th Ave East, Tacoma, WA 98446

    Looking for a new view of Mt. Rainier? The Pipeline Trail, a multi-modal, non-motorized trail along the Tacoma Water Pipeline, will provide that and more! Pipeline Trail will connect the trail already built by the City of Tacoma all the way to South Hill.

    The County will build the trail from 72nd Street East to Heritage Recreation Center in Puyallup in the first phase. The trail will eventually connect to the Foothills Trail.

    In 2019, Pierce County will begin design of the trail and trailheads. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022.
